My mom at the Susan G. Komen 3-day, 60 mile walk.

Susan G. Komen

On April 27, 2013, my mom passed away from breast cancer. My mom has always been an inspiration to me. She was extremely loving and strong willed. She loved hiking Badger Mountain. Even during her first battle with cancer, while she was going through chemotherapy, she would go hike Badger Mountain several times a week.

When she beat cancer for the first time, she did the Susan G. Komen 3-day, 60 mile walk through Seattle, WA. She was the fastest member of her team. In 2014, after my mom had passed away, my brother, dad, and I all did the Susan G. Komen 3-day, 60 mile walk in her honor. We hope to rid this planet of the ugly disease that took her life. Please support breast cancer awareness.
